HYUKOH is heading back on the road. The South Korean indie band has announced the HYUKOH [33] TOUR, a world tour in support of its forthcoming third full-length album, 33, due out on November 25. The band’s agency, DooRooDooRoo Artist Company, unveiled the tour poster on Friday, confirming 12 dates across Asia, North America and Europe, beginning with two nights in Seoul in January 2027.
The tour opens at Olympic Hall in Olympic Park, Songpa District, Seoul, with shows at 6 p.m. on Saturday, January 16, and 5 p.m. on Sunday, January 17. Tickets for the Seoul dates go on sale exclusively through Melon Ticket at 8 p.m. KST on Thursday, November 12, with standing and R seats priced at 154,000 won, S seats at 143,000 won and A seats at 132,000 won. Presales for the tour begin on November 10, followed by general sale on November 12, according to Exclaim!.
After Seoul, the tour moves to Taipei on February 20 at the Taipei Music Center and Tokyo on March 16 at Toyosu Pit. The North American leg begins in Los Angeles on March 27 at The Novo, followed by San Francisco on March 29 at The Regency Ballroom, Seattle on March 31 at The Showbox, Knoxville on April 3 as part of the Big Ears Festival, Chicago on April 5 at Metro, Toronto on April 7 at The Danforth Music Hall and New York on April 9 at Brooklyn Paramount. The run closes, for now, in London on June 16 at Troxy. The agency said additional tour stops will be announced in the future.
The North American dates carry extra weight for longtime fans: they mark HYUKOH’s first shows in the United States since their festival set at Coachella in 2019, and their first U.S. tour dates since that year, according to Consequence. One fan on r/kpop summed up the mood after the poster dropped, writing that they had “been wondering when the next tour and album would be after covid killed their last tour.”
The tour is built around 33, the band’s first full-length album in six years. Newspim reported on November 5, citing DooRooDooRoo Artist Company, that the album will be released at 6 p.m. KST on November 25. The title continues a numbering thread that runs through the band’s catalog: their first album was titled 23, introduced at a listening session in Seoul in April 2017, and the new record is their third full-length. The album and the tour were announced together, with the tour named for the record.
HYUKOH debuted in 2014 with vocalist Oh Hyuk, guitarist Lim Hyun-jae, bassist Lim Dong-gun and drummer Lee In-woo, and became one of Korea’s most successful indie acts with early hits including “Wi Ing Wi Ing” (2014) and “Comes and Goes” (2015). The four-piece has since built an international following that stretches well beyond the Korean indie scene, with festival appearances and headline shows abroad. The 2027 itinerary, spanning three continents, is the band’s most ambitious routing since that breakthrough.
With the album arriving on November 25 and presales opening on November 10, fans have only days to wait before tickets go on sale. More dates are still to come, according to the agency, so fans in cities not yet on the poster will be watching for the next announcement. For the band’s overseas fans, the 2027 dates are the first chance in years to see HYUKOH live on their own stage, rather than on a festival bill.
