Song Eun-i has shared a heartwarming story about actress Jeon Mi Do. On the October 10 episode of the YouTube show “Pinggyego,” she revealed that Jeon gave gift cards to every agency employee — even though she had signed the film before joining the company.

“Our agency’s actress Jeon Mi Do — even though she signed the film before joining our company — gave gift cards to every employee. Jeon would never talk about her own good deeds herself, and Director Jang Hang-jun wouldn’t either. So I’ll do it for them,” Song said.

Jeon played the court lady Maehwa in the Jang Hang-jun film starring Park Ji-hoon and Yoo Hae-jin. Released in February, it drew 16.93 million moviegoers — second all-time after “Myeongnyang” (17.61 million), according to Star News.

Son Ye Jin also made headlines in September for “dropping a gift bomb” at the wrap party for Netflix’s “Scandal” — personally picking Apple products, shoes and perfume for staff. “I was always so thankful,” she said of the lucky-draw gifts.

And So Ji Sub gave pure gold to 300 cast and crew of the SBS drama “Kim Bu-jang” (23.0 percent peak rating in July) at about 100 million won from his own pocket. “Nothing gets done just because I do well alone,” he said.

With Jeon Mi Do’s quiet gesture now on the list, the wave of on-set generosity shows no signs of slowing.
