KATSEYE's 'Animal' Climbs to No. 48 on Spotify Global and No. 112 in the US in Late Chart Surge cover

KATSEYE’s “Animal” is pulling off a proper chart rebound, climbing on Spotify’s global and US weekly charts two full months after its release. According to Sports Kyunghyang, the song rose two places to No. 48 on Spotify’s Weekly Top Songs Global for the week of October 2 to 8, marking its 11th consecutive week on the chart after a peak at No. 8.

“Animal” jumped 12 spots to No. 112 on Spotify’s Weekly Top Songs USA, and the outlet noted that the climbs on both charts reflect the group’s wide fanbase and sustained momentum.

“Hootie Frutti” is backing it up too: No. 150 on Spotify’s Weekly Top Songs Global for an 8th consecutive week after a peak at No. 18. In the UK Official Singles Top 100 dated October 9 to 15, “Animal” sits at No. 79 and “Hootie Frutti” at No. 66, with 11 and 8 consecutive weeks respectively. “Animal” previously reached a team-best No. 12 there.

The momentum comes off the group’s third EP “WILD”, whose pre-release track “Animal” is leading the surge. The report notes the EP topped the Billboard 200 with three tracks entering the Hot 100. KATSEYE was formed under HYBE and Geffen Records through chairman Bang Si-hyuk’s “multi-home, multi-genre” strategy and debuted in the US in 2024.

The group just wrapped the European leg of “THE WILDWORLD TOUR”, kicks off the North American run in Miami on October 13, and performs at the 2026 Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show in Los Angeles on October 18.
