MBN dating show star Lee A-young has revealed that she and her husband, lawyer Shim Gyu-deok, still have not registered their August marriage.
According to Xportsnews, Lee held an “ask me anything” session on her account on October 7 and answered fans’ questions about married life. When asked whether she has filed their marriage registration, Lee replied, “No!!! We haven’t even done the move-in registration. I went to the community center yesterday during a walk, but they said I need my husband’s ID and seal, so I couldn’t do anything.”
On the topic of having children, Lee said the couple is open to it. “We both have thoughts about it,” she wrote, joking that her husband wants a son while suggesting the name “Danbi” for a possible daughter. Asked about the pros and cons of marriage compared to dating, she answered, “Fewer fights… roles are clearer… Actually, I don’t really know the differences.”
Lee and Shim became a couple in January of last year after being introduced by a mutual acquaintance, and they married in August this year. Shim first appeared on season 5 of the MBN show, and the pair now runs a YouTube channel together.
Lee previously shared that their wedding cost about 100 million won at the venue, but thanks to acquaintance discounts and congratulatory money, they ended up with money left over.
Whether the paperwork or the baby plans come first, fans will be watching both.
