Lee Da-hae has jetted off to Hangzhou on what she described as an urgent business trip, even as she nears the end of her pregnancy with her first child.

The actress took to her personal account on October 13 to share the sudden departure, captioning several photos of her hotel accommodation with the words “급하게 온 항저우 출장” — a suddenly scheduled Hangzhou business trip, according to TV리포트.

The photos showed a spacious, stylish room with a table loaded with water bottles and an abundant spread of fruit, including grapes, melon, and watermelon. Acknowledging the exhaustion of the last-minute schedule, she added, “피곤한데 과일천국” — tired, but it’s a fruit paradise.

Her break was brief. Lee Da-hae soon posted a photo of a spicy Chinese meal, writing “밥 먹고 리허설 고고!” — eat, then off to rehearsal. The following morning, October 14, she greeted followers with pictures of her breakfast, a sandwich and noodles, and a simple “굿모닝,” or good morning.

The actress is currently nine months pregnant and expected to give birth to her first daughter in November, making her willingness to take on an overseas work commitment a talking point.

Born in 1984, Lee Da-hae rose to fame after winning the Miss Chunhyang pageant in 2001 and went on to lead hit dramas including My Girl, East of Eden, The Slave Hunters, Miss Ripley, and Hotel King. Fluent in Chinese, she has also starred in Chinese dramas and currently serves as an advisor to the Shanghai content company Shesang.

Lee Da-hae married singer Se7en in 2023 after eight years of dating. The couple announced they were expecting in May 2026, sharing ultrasound photos and the message, “From two to three. Our little miracle is on the way.” No official statement beyond her own posts was available.
