Lee Seung-gi and Lee Soo-geun are dusting off one of Korean variety’s most iconic games. The singer-actor and the comedian will reunite through the classic “luck of the draw” (bokbulbok) game from KBS2’s “1 Night 2 Days,” with Lee Soo-geun appearing as the very first guest on Lee Seung-gi’s new YouTube content.

According to an exclusive report by MK Sports, Lee Soo-geun is stepping in as the first “supporter” for the project, which begins filming on October 10. The two are expected to recreate the bokbulbok games that made them stars together on the first season of “Happy Sunday – 1 Night 2 Days,” where they famously endured freezing outdoor sleepovers and fate-deciding missions side by side.

The reunion has a playful backstory. Lee Soo-geun previously joked on Naver NOW’s “Gangnawa,” alongside Kang Ho-dong, that his younger friend never calls unless it is about work. “Call me sometimes, tell me you miss me — there’s none of that. He’s like a cold-blooded person,” he teased, adding with mock grievance, “Couldn’t you press my number when you dial Ho-dong hyung’s?”

Lee Seung-gi fired back good-naturedly on his own social media, posting the clip with the captions “Were you upset, Soo-geun hyung?” and “Why do you look so wronged?” — even sharing their private chat exchange afterward. “I can say this because we’re close,” Lee Soo-geun had laughed. “Hopefully Seung-gi will come on and clear up the misunderstanding.”

The pair’s bond stretches back to the 2011 KBS Entertainment Awards, where the “1 Night 2 Days” team took home the grand prize. No official statement was available.

All eyes are now on whether their signature bokbulbok chemistry still holds.
