SM Classics Live is taking its orchestral K-pop concerts on the road across Asia, with new dates announced in Hanoi, Taipei, and Hong Kong.
The tour opens in Hanoi on November 5 with SM Classics Live in Hanoi at the Hanoi Opera House. The concert forms part of the 2026 Korea Season, organized by South Korea’s Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and run by the Korea Foundation for International Cultural Exchange, and features the Vietnam National Symphony Orchestra. Super Junior’s Ryeowook is set to perform as a guest vocalist.
The tour then heads to Taipei on November 14 and 15 for SM Classics Live in Taipei at the National Concert Hall. The Taipei run comprises three performances with the National Symphony Orchestra, conducted by Thanapol Setabrahmana, who also led the project’s Singapore and Bangkok concerts this summer. Girls’ Generation’s Yuri will serve as moderator, while Ryeowook returns as guest vocalist.
The final announced leg lands in Hong Kong next March, when SM Classics Live in Hong Kong runs March 12 to 14 at the Hong Kong Cultural Centre Concert Hall as an official invited program of the 55th Hong Kong Arts Festival. The Hankyung Arte Philharmonic will accompany the concerts, with a rotating lineup: Ryeowook on March 12, Red Velvet’s Wendy on March 13, and the two together on March 14.
An SM Classics official said the tour will show how K-pop music IP can communicate deeply with audiences around the world through the language of classical music, adding that the project plans to expand to major cities in North America and Europe.
SM Classics, launched by SM Entertainment in 2020, reworks the company’s catalog for full orchestra. The live project began in Seoul in 2025 and has since traveled to Tokyo and Vienna, where it performed at the Wiener Konzerthaus with the Wiener Symphoniker in February. Its source material spans three decades of SM acts, from TVXQ, Super Junior, and Girls’ Generation to Red Velvet, NCT, and aespa.
The new dates extend that run beyond its established Seoul, Tokyo, and Vienna stops and mark the project’s first shows in Hanoi and Hong Kong, with Taipei following its earlier announcement as the tour’s Taiwan debut.
