Lim Young-woong’s official YouTube channel has passed 3.25 billion cumulative views, adding 50 million views in just 35 days, according to Sports Seoul.
The channel crossed 3.2 billion views on September 23 and reached 3.25 billion on October 28, the report said. That pace works out to about 1.43 million views a day over the 35-day stretch.
The recent pace has been even faster. After passing 3.24 billion views on October 22, the channel added another 10 million views in only six days, taking the total past 3,253,450,000 views as of October 28.
As of October 28, the channel had 1.8 million subscribers and more than 1,000 public videos, Sports Seoul reported. More than 100 of those videos have each passed 10 million views, and older releases continue to draw plays alongside new uploads.
New material is helping to drive the current surge. The official music video for a song released on October 19 passed 1 million views by October 27, about a week after its release, and its audio video had also passed 1 million views. All 10 tracks from his 10th-anniversary special digital album “IM HERO 10” passed 1 million views for their audio videos in September, the report said.
No official statement was available beyond the viewing figures reported by Sports Seoul.
The milestone lands in Lim’s 10th anniversary year as a singer, a period in which his channel has become a central archive of his career, from early releases to recent album material. That breadth helps explain why the total keeps climbing even between major releases: with more than 1,000 videos available, new listeners can work through years of his songs, while longtime fans return to familiar favourites.
At the recent pace of about 1.43 million views a day, another 50 million views would take roughly five more weeks. For now, the headline is the speed itself: 50 million views in 35 days, at a time when many artists struggle to hold attention between releases.
