Model Lee Hyun-yi has given fans a funny peek behind the scenes of a profile photo shoot — and the price of looking camera-ready.
According to Segye Ilbo, Lee Hyun-yi revealed she lost 3kg ahead of the shoot, managing her diet to prepare for the new profile photos. When she arrived at the set, she did not hide the struggle: “I’m going crazy from hunger,” she said. Still, showing veteran spirit, she was determined to finish the planned shots first, with a plan to eat right after the first cut was in the can.
The shoot was filmed for a video on Han Hye-jin’s YouTube channel, ‘Han Hye Jin,’ titled ‘경력 도합 120년 패션모델들의 촬영 현장!’ — roughly, the shoot set of fashion models with 120 years of combined experience. The video brought together Han Hye-jin, Lee Hyun-yi, and Song Hae-na to take new profile photos as a trio.
During the shoot, Han Hye-jin kept teasing her longtime friend, joking that she lost at soccer because of the diet, and repeatedly admiring her on camera with “pretty.”
The glimpse into how veteran models prepare for a shoot, diet struggles included, has drawn interest from viewers. No official statement was available beyond what the models shared in the video — the hunger, at least, was all too real.
