The teasing happened on Lee’s YouTube channel “워킹맘이현이” (Working Mom Lee Hyun-yi), in a video posted October 10 titled “F/W Date-Winning Looks Styled by 6 Models,” featuring Song Hae-na, Kim Jin-kyung, Jung Hyuk, Jo Min-ho, and Lee Se-han.
Introducing the juniors, Lee said it was her first large-scale project since opening her YouTube channel and thanked them for coming all at once, adding that she had gathered “only the trendiest of trendy people” — using the Korean word “대세.”
Song Hae-na immediately fired back, asking whether they were really the trend or whether Lee had simply rounded up “people with free time.” A flustered Lee shot back, “Do you know how hard it was to coordinate schedules?” Jung Hyuk piled on, asking, “Aren’t they people who want to be the trend?” and adding that it had “really been a long time” since he heard the word “대세.”
Kim Jin-kyung then called her senior “늙크크” — a playful mashup of the Korean words for “old” and “cringe.” Lee asked what young people say these days, but even Jung Hyuk couldn’t come up with an answer. She then joked that they were “people who snort at things,” dusting off an even older expression that sent everyone laughing.
