MONSTA X’s Shownu X Hyungwon are the faces of Marie Claire Korea’s October 2026 digital edition cover, teaming up with Concept Korea for the fashion shoot.
The cover reveal was shared on Reddit’s r/kpop on October 9, showing the duo styled for the fashion-forward edition. The pairing links the unit with Concept Korea, the Korean designer showcase program, for the digital issue.
The cover follows their appointment as official ambassadors for Concept Korea, first reported on September 22. The 2027 S/S Concept Korea show is set for October 1 at the Palais de Tokyo during Paris Fashion Week, where the pair are expected to attend as ambassadors.
Concept Korea is run by South Korea’s Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism together with the Korea Creative Content Agency, putting Korean designers on overseas runways each season. Shownu previously took part in Concept Korea for the 2024 F/W and 2025 S/S seasons, while Hyungwon is joining the program for the first time this year.
Shownu and Hyungwon also promote as a unit inside MONSTA X, releasing the EP ‘THE UNSEEN’ in 2023 and returning this year with ‘LOVE ME.’
Marie Claire Korea had not yet revealed the full photo spread and interview details at the time of the post. The digital cover marks another fashion milestone for the duo as their ambassador role ramps up ahead of the Paris show.
