Broadcaster Nam Chang-hee is winning hearts with his doting dad-to-be behavior. The comedian was spotted hoisting a heavy sack of rice onto his shoulder for his pregnant wife, Yoon Young-kyung, who is now 23 weeks along.
According to Sports Chosun, Yoon shared photos on her personal social media on October 10. She wrote, “Thank you so much for the precious rice and precious sesame oil sent up from Mokpo,” alongside snapshots of the gifted goods. The standout shot showed Nam Chang-hee carrying the bulky rice sack himself, a glimpse of the dependable soon-to-be father.
The couple is expecting their first child next February. Nam’s agency confirmed earlier in the day that Yoon is currently 23 weeks pregnant.
The couple tied the knot this past February, and they announced the pregnancy about eight months after their wedding, drawing an outpouring of congratulations.
Yoon, meanwhile, recently resigned from the Dongdaemun-gu district office in Seoul, where she had worked as a public servant for about six years. She is now expected to focus on prenatal care and preparing for the birth.
Yoon first drew public attention in 2013 as a finalist in the Miss Chunhyang pageant. She went on to appear in films and dramas, including ‘Ode to My Father’ and ‘Jang Yeong-sil,’ and once made headlines for her resemblance to singer-actor IU.
