Nam Ji-hyun Jokes She Knows Nothing About Psychology Despite Sogang Degree on SBS's 'Tteummannamyeon' cover

Nam Ji-hyun visited her alma mater Sogang University on the October 13 episode of SBS’s “틈만나면,” (Tteummannamyeon), and brought laughs by admitting her psychology degree never taught her to read minds.

The actress appeared as a “틈 친구” (guest) alongside co-star Kim Jae-young, her co-lead in TVING’s upcoming romantic comedy “내가 떨릴 수 있게” (Naega Tteollil Su Itge). Hosts Yoo Jae-suk and Yoo Yeon-seok joined the pair for a campus outing around Sogang.

When Yoo Yeon-seok asked whether a psychology graduate could read people’s hearts, Nam Ji-hyun laughed: “I get asked that a lot, but honestly, I know nothing at all.”

The psychology class-of-2014 graduate talked up Sogang’s quirks — assigned seating and bells marking the start and end of classes — and when the wind tousled Kim Jae-young’s hair, she tenderly fixed it for him. Kim Jae-young had the studio in stitches by introducing his character as the CEO of an adult-products company.

Nam Ji-hyun, who debuted as a child in elementary school, is now in her 22nd year of acting — just one year behind her senior Yoo Yeon-seok, a gap that stunned Yoo Jae-suk.

The group later dropped by the Sogang broadcasting station, where students spilled their modern dating culture tips, rounding out a breezy campus day.
