P1Harmony has given fans their first live taste of the new era. The group premiered the title track “BLOW UP” and the B-side “MOMENTUM” at a special showcase in Seoul on November 4, just two days before their 10th mini album “BLOW UP” is released on November 6 at 2 p.m. KST, according to a TenAsia report on the event.
The showcase, held at the Grand Auditorium of Yonsei University in Seoul’s Seodaemun-gu district, was staged as the “HERO SOCIETY INFO SESSION” — a recruitment information session for new heroes. The concept turned the comeback event into a piece of theater: the six members — Keeho, Theo, Jiung, Intak, Soul and Jongseob — appeared as veteran senior heroes welcoming a fresh intake, running a mentoring program and team missions on stage while sharing behind-the-scenes stories from the new album. The staging extended the “office worker hero” worldview the group had already teased through its promotional content, bringing that storyline to life in front of a live audience.
The night doubled as a concert in miniature. P1Harmony opened with “Work,” from their eighth mini album, then moved through energetic signature songs including “Triple 7,” “DUH!,” “Back Down” and “Do It Like This.” Later in the set, the group poured out more of its catalog — “Different Song For Me,” “Love Story,” “If You Call Me,” “Swagger,” “I See U,” “JUMP,” “Last Call” and “ICE (VVS)” — in a setlist TenAsia described as concert-like in scale. The two new songs were the clear highlight: hearing “MOMENTUM” and the title track performed live for the first time drew an explosive response from the crowd, the report said.
Closing the show, the members thanked their fans, known as P1ece, for sharing the night with them. “We were really happy to be able to make such fun memories with P1ece,” they said, adding that they had worked very hard on the album and promised to show many great stages in return for the wait. The message set the tone for the comeback week: a group confident in the record it has prepared, speaking directly to the fans who waited for it.
“BLOW UP” is P1Harmony’s first Korean release in about eight months, following their ninth mini album “UNIQUE” in March. The new record contains six tracks: the title track “BLOW UP,” “element,” “How To,” “MOMENTUM,” “t.o.t.y” and “Talk That.” Members Intak and Jongseob took part in writing the lyrics for every song on the album, including the title track, according to allkpop’s November 2 report on the tracklist reveal. An album sampler released on November 3 previewed all six songs, with the workplace-hero concept running through the video as the members carried out their daily missions.
The album is positioned as the climax of a story P1Harmony has been telling since debut. The group arrived on October 28, 2020, with the film “P1H: The Beginning of a New World” and a hero concept that has run through their albums ever since, and TenAsia described “BLOW UP” as the peak of that cinematic hero journey. The title track carries that idea in its lyrics: a determination to break through one’s own limits and push forward without hesitation. The comeback trailer, titled “FINAL MISSION COMPLETE” and released in late October, framed the release the same way — as the final mission of a long-running storyline rather than just another comeback.
With the showcase done, the countdown is now short. The full album and the music video for the title track arrive on November 6 at 2 p.m. KST, and the first live performances of “BLOW UP” and “MOMENTUM” have already set the bar for what fans should expect from the stage: high energy, full-group choreography, and a hero story reaching its final chapter.
