SBS’s “Running Man” is back with a bang. After two weeks off the air for Asian Games coverage, the show returns on October 11 with a 10-minute extended broadcast starting at 6 p.m. — and the episode centers on an all-night war of betrayals fought over a single egg.
According to OSEN, the episode continues the cast’s two-day, one-night trip to Cheorwon with Heo Kyung-hwan for the “Cheorwon Tteodeo Bbeusseoyo II” race. The members were handed a simple-sounding mission: keep their eggs intact overnight for the next morning’s wake-up mission.
That simplicity didn’t survive the night. Once the mission was revealed, suspicion took over — one member reportedly carried their egg into the bathroom while washing up, while another was caught scouting for the perfect moment to crack someone else’s. Roommates eventually resorted to stashing their eggs inside a microwave and taping the door shut, swearing not to touch each other’s eggs. The truce held for mere hours: a chase “like a horror movie” broke out overnight.
Heo Kyung-hwan slept through the chaos and woke up in shock at what unfolded. “I’m scared now,” he muttered, adding, “I think this show is really scary,” according to OSEN.
The October 11 broadcast marks the show’s return after its two-week hiatus for Asian Games coverage.
The eggs that survived the night of compromises and betrayals will be the final key deciding the Cheorwon race outcome — so Sunday’s episode will reveal who cracked under pressure.
