Singer Sung Si-kyung has shared photos of his meeting with Hollywood star Tom Cruise, calling the brief encounter a moment of personal reflection.

According to Newsis, Sung posted the photos on his social media on October 12. The pictures show him posing for a commemorative photo with Cruise, who visited Korea on October 1 to promote his new film ‘디거’.

In his post, Sung wrote that books, performances, and works of art often give him people to admire — but rarely does meeting someone move him through their eyes, attitude, and philosophy.

He continued: “Instead of spending time hating and cursing others, cherishing others and being curious about them, embracing them; instead of complaining and being pessimistic, being grateful and working hard; instead of taking and hoarding, giving and sharing — he is someone who makes me think, ‘I want to become a person like this.’” He added that the meeting felt like “a time of study for my heart.”

Sung Si-kyung is a veteran South Korean singer known for his ballads. Cruise’s visit to Korea marked another stop in the Hollywood star’s long history of promoting his films in the country.

The singer gave no further details about where or how long the two met, closing his post with the thought that seeing how Cruise lives left him wanting to live the same way.
