Super Junior’s Shindong is showing off the real deal. The singer shared a fresh batch of photos from Tokyo on October 10, joking that he had brought “real photos” in case fans forgot his face — after a streak of posting AI-generated images — and giving followers a clear look at his noticeably slimmer appearance following a 37kg weight loss.
According to Sports Donga’s October 11 report, Shindong posted the photos on his personal social media account to share his time in Tokyo. The snaps show him taking a selfie in a bright-colored cardigan, posing with sunglasses on inside a car, and enjoying a meal.
“Not AI this time just the real me,” he wrote, playfully nodding to his recent run of AI photos. The photos drew attention for his sharper jawline and leaner features.
He also shared photos taken in front of the poster for Super Junior-D&E’s fan party in Japan, joking that since he had no spot on the poster, he decided to stand in front of it instead. “Tell me which photo is your favorite. Mine is number 7,” he added, inviting fans to weigh in.
Shindong previously revealed he had gone from a peak weight of 116kg to 79kg — a loss of about 37kg over roughly five months. The transformation made headlines in Korea, and he has continued to share updates of his new look on social media.
The Super Junior member remains active across variety shows and his own YouTube content alongside group activities.
