ABD, the agency behind rookie girl group TUIDE, announced on October 19 that it will take legal action against malicious posts and comments targeting the group, with no settlements or leniency, according to TV Report.
In a statement shared through the fan community Weverse, the agency said it would pursue legal measures against the spread of false information, malicious defamation, insults, defamation, sexual harassment, and violations of members’ privacy or personal information.
ABD said its own real-time monitoring had uncovered numerous posts and comments that repeatedly belittle, mock, or insult the members’ character. Evidence was gathered from online communities including DC Inside, Nate Pann, MLB Park, FMKorea, Instiz, and Theqoo, as well as SNS platforms such as YouTube, Instagram, and X, and music sites including Melon and Bugs Music.
The agency stressed that the majority of TUIDE’s members are minors — the seven-member girl group debuted in August with an average age of 17 — and said it plans to disclose the progress of its legal response every half year starting in 2027.
“We will hold anyone who infringes on our artists’ rights strictly accountable, with no settlement or leniency,” the agency said in its official statement.
ABD also asked fans to report violations through the HYBE artist rights-infringement report site, requesting full-screen PC captures or PDF files that clearly show the post URL, poster’s name, date, and content to support legal proceedings.
