Breaking: Han Ji-min's Threatener Confirmed as Same Woman Who Stalked Jannabi's Choi Jung-hoon cover

The woman fined for threatening and insulting actress Han Ji-min has been confirmed as the same woman who previously stalked her boyfriend, Jannabi frontman Choi Jung-hoon.

According to a News1 report carried by Sports Chosun on October 17, the defendant — identified only as “A” — was sentenced to a 6 million won fine for threats and insults on October 16 by Judge Lee Ye-rim of the Seoul Central District Court’s Criminal Division 27. Han Ji-min’s agency, BH Entertainment, confirmed that the two cases involve the same perpetrator.

A was indicted for posting 19 threatening and insulting messages on her SNS between September and October 2024, tagging Han Ji-min and people close to her after the couple went public with their relationship in August 2024. She claimed the relationship was fake and demanded that Han Ji-min announce a breakup and halt her SNS activity. Investigators found threats in the posts, including “I will sabotage the movie Han Ji-min appears in” and “Shut your mouth.”

A also waged a sustained stalking campaign against Choi Jung-hoon, leaving hundreds of secret comments on the blog he personally runs — including profanity, demands for private meetings, death threats, and sexually humiliating texts and photos — and showing up near his agency’s building. Choi Jung-hoon’s side filed a complaint, and a restraining order was issued to protect the victim. In that case, A received a 5 million won fine and an order to complete a stalking treatment program, which has since been finalized.

The two fines combined total 11 million won. No official statement from BH Entertainment was available at the time of writing.
