TXT Tops Spotify Pre-Save Chart with 9th Mini Album 'PERFECT STORM' Ahead of November Comeback cover

TOMORROW X TOGETHER have topped Spotify’s pre-save chart before their new album has even arrived. On October 26, the group’s ninth mini album, ‘PERFECT STORM,’ recorded about 300,000 pre-saves on Spotify and ranked No. 1 on the platform’s ‘Top 10 Countdown’ chart, according to Sports Kyunghyang.

The climb was steady. Pre-saves opened on September 28, and ‘PERFECT STORM’ entered the countdown chart three days later before rising to No. 1. A pre-save lets listeners register interest before release and request a release notification, making it an early gauge of comeback demand.

That demand was visible from the first day. ‘PERFECT STORM’ drew about 3.5 times more first-day pre-save participation than TXT’s previous album, a sign that the group’s fan base, MOA, mobilized early for this return.

‘PERFECT STORM’ arrives at 6 p.m. on November 16 with six tracks. It explores the growing pains of Gen Z youth who, after teenage fantasies and wandering, confront the weight of reality. Title track ‘Angel Bite’ is a love song about facing pain and deprivation in ordinary reality while refusing to let go of the person you love.

The other tracks are ‘something different from before (Storm is…)’, ‘Higher Love,’ ‘Sweetest Escape,’ ‘Touch the Sky’ and ‘Hate It or Love It,’ completing a six-song set built around youthful emotion.

The milestone caps a storm-themed rollout. The ‘STORM IS COMING’ trailer and photos showed the five members — Soobin, Yeonjun, Beomgyu, Taehyun and Hueningkai — waiting for a storm to arrive, while the ‘RIDE THE STORM’ photos showed them riding the gust that finally came. ‘EYE OF THE STORM’ follows on October 28 and ‘HOLDING THE STORM’ on October 30, with an album preview due on November 5 and the music video teaser on November 13.

TXT will also open their fifth world tour, ‘STEAL THE WIND,’ with three Seoul concerts at KSPO Dome from November 13 to 15, one day before the album lands. ‘PERFECT STORM’ follows their eighth mini album, ‘7TH YEAR: A Moment of Stillness in the Thorns,’ which peaked at No. 3 on the Billboard 200.

No official statement beyond the chart milestone was available. With the next concept photos still to come, the pre-save ranking gives TXT a measurable early win — and a clear signal of how much anticipation is already built into the November 16 release.
