S.E.S legend Bada is officially the newest A2O fan. The first-generation K-pop star took to social media on October 12 to gush over Lee Soo Man’s new groups A2O SOUL and A2O LITE, calling their debut showcase clips “truly impressive” and admitting she couldn’t pick a favorite.
According to Ilgan Sports, Bada shared a video of A2O LITE’s debut showcase on her SNS, writing, “It’s truly cool even when you watch it closely” — and joking, “If I debuted now, I’d be one of them.” On a clip of boy group A2O SOUL, she wrote, “Teacher Soo-man, lol — who’s going to be my one pick? They look straight out of a comic,” adding, “Impossible to pick just one.”
Bada also left a congratulatory note for producer Lee Soo Man himself: “Congratulations on your comeback, teacher. From Bada, K-pop’s eldest daughter.”
The clips come from A2O Entertainment’s debut show ‘Welcome to Soulite from A2O SOUL A2O LITE,’ held October 12 at Hall 9 of KINTEX Exhibition Hall 2 in Goyang. Both groups — the projects Lee Soo Man is developing with producer Yoo Young-jin since leaving SM Entertainment — release their respective digital singles and officially debut on October 13 at 6 p.m. KST.
With a K-pop legend publicly rooting for them hours before debut, A2O SOUL and A2O LITE are launching with a high-profile cheer from their senior. No official statement was available.
