A2O LITE has completed a music show triple crown with their debut single “NEON.” The nine-member girl group took first place on Mnet’s M Countdown on October 22, securing their third music show trophy just nine days after debut.
According to Star News, the win capped a three-day winning streak. A2O LITE first topped SBS Life’s The Show on October 20, then MBC M’s Show Champion on October 21, before clinching the M Countdown crown on the 22nd.
“Thanks to our fans, we’ve been spending happy days lately,” the members said while accepting the trophy. “Thank you so much to the fans who always support us. We will work hard to become artists who can repay this award.” They also thanked key producer Lee Soo-man, their agency, and staff members.
Star News praised the group’s powerful performance and stable live vocals on the “NEON” stage, which opened with a pair choreography segment from Aijing and Siri. For their encore, the members performed with hand microphones and delivered steady vocals.
“NEON” continues to dominate charts in and beyond Korea. The track held No. 1 on Melon’s TOP100 for eight straight days from October 15 to 22, and topped the Circle Chart’s 42nd-week global K-pop and digital charts, Spotify Korea’s daily chart, and Shazam Korea. It reached No. 4 on Apple Music’s Today’s Top 100: Global and swept the new-song, hot-song, and music-video charts on China’s QQ Music.
A2O LITE is expected to keep appearing on music shows as “NEON” promotions continue.
