Justin Bieber and his wife Hailey Bieber have made a surprise visit to Korea, marking the pop star’s first trip to the country in roughly 13 years, according to a Sports Seoul report published Thursday morning.
The visit coincides with the opening of the Seoul pop-up store for Bieber’s fashion brand SKYLRK in the Seongsu neighborhood. According to reports by mydaily and Hypebeast, the brand announced on October 20 through its official social media channels that the pop-up would run from October 22 to October 25, open daily from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Bieber also teased the activation on his own social accounts the same day.
mydaily noted that, as of that announcement, Bieber’s actual travel to Korea had not been confirmed — making Thursday’s report of a surprise arrival alongside Hailey a significant development. Bieber previously showed up in person at the SKYLRK pop-up in Tokyo, where he greeted fans and held a livestream, which has fueled speculation about whether he will do the same in Seoul. Local fans have reacted with comments such as “Will there be a performance at the pop-up?”, treating the event as a signal of a possible visit.
No official statement was available from Bieber or the brand regarding the Korea visit or any performance schedule.
With the Seoul pop-up running through October 25, fans are watching closely to see whether Bieber makes an appearance, just as he did in Tokyo.
