AKMU turned the seats nobody wanted into the concert’s most meaningful gesture, inviting 300 underprivileged fans — including visually impaired audience members — to their recent solo concert in Seoul.
According to Sports Seoul, the sibling duo held their solo concert ‘2026 소문의 낙원’ (2026 Paradise of Rumors) at the KSPO DOME in Seoul Olympic Park from October 9 to 11, drawing a total audience of 30,000 across the three shows.
The duo invited 100 underprivileged guests to each show, totaling 300. What caught attention was that part of the restricted-view seating — tickets worth 150,000 won — was set aside specifically for visually impaired fans, giving them a space to enjoy the sound and music even where the stage and staging were hard to see.
The Korean headline captured the spirit of the move: “I can’t see it, but I can hear it well.” No official statement was available beyond the report.
After the shows, reviews from visually impaired fans who attended through AKMU’s invitation began appearing on social media, adding to the warm reception of the gesture.
It was a rare example of a packed concert deliberately making room for fans who are usually left out of the live-music experience.
