BIGBANG has officially launched the Asia leg of their 2026-2027 ‘XX: Cosmos’ world tour, playing to roughly 100,000 fans across three nights at Taipei Dome from October 9 to 11.

According to a report by Sports Dong-a, the Taipei stop marked the group’s first solo concert in the city in about a decade, following their 2016 outing. All shows sold out, including additional seats released to meet demand, bringing the total attendance to around 100,000 over three days.

The trio opened each night with ‘FANTASTIC BABY,’ then rolled through two decades of hits including ‘LOSER,’ ‘Haru Haru,’ ‘Lies,’ and ‘BANG BANG BANG.’ Each member also performed solo stages showcasing their individual musical styles, backed by a live band, lighting effects, and large-scale production built for the dome venue.

The city itself joined in on the celebration. Fan events popped up around Taipei’s landmarks, subway stations, and parks, while the official pop-up store near the venue drew long lines of fans buying tour merchandise.

On stage, the members thanked their fans, saying they were happy to celebrate BIGBANG’s 20th anniversary together with V.I.P, their fandom, adding that they don’t take any of it for granted. They credited fans’ passionate support for bringing them this far and promised to repay it with their best effort.

BIGBANG started the tour in Goyang and completed the Americas and Europe legs before arriving in Taipei. The group heads next to Singapore National Stadium on October 17 and 18, followed by stops in Bangkok, Hong Kong, Kuala Lumpur, and Jakarta, with 39 shows planned across 19 cities.
