IVE Unveils Action-Packed 'Hero Training Center' Video and Comic-Style Concept Photos for 'Looks Can Kill' cover

IVE is suiting up for their next era. The group unveiled the “HERO TRAINING CENTER : HERO COMICS” video alongside a set of comic-style group concept photos, expanding the girl-hero world of their new release ‘Looks Can Kill’.

According to OSEN reporter Jang Woo-young, Starship Entertainment released the video and the “Hero Comics” version group concept photos on October 11 through IVE’s official social channels, with the group’s pre-release single arriving within a week.

Set to fast, thundering beats, the clip follows the six members through training sequences that play up each member’s personality. An Yujin commands attention with a powerful, swift landing, while Gaeul fires a palm blast to take down an opponent. Rei adds her signature wit by firing finger guns, Jang Wonyoung delivers flashy long-pole action, Leeseo swings in on a long rope, and Liz nails a bullseye with a fork.

An official told the outlet, “With the in-universe ‘Hero Training Center’ now unveiled, anticipation is building for what story the upcoming teaser content will unfold as IVE transforms anew.”

The members’ symbolic hair colors and styling sharpen each character’s identity, while the group photos lean into comic-book collage layouts and kitschy illustrations for a one-of-a-kind “Hero Comics” mood, with silhouettes set against the training center itself.

The new teaser content builds on the earlier mini-album announcement, and fans can expect more story-driven teasers as the ‘Looks Can Kill’ rollout continues.
