Actress Kim Yong-ji quietly became an “October bride,” with her wedding revealed not by the bride herself but by her celebrity friends sharing photos online.
According to TV Report, the marriage news broke on October 11 when fellow actress Kim Go-eun tagged Kim Yong-ji on social media and posted photos from the wedding ceremony. Fellow model and actor Bae Jung-nam also shared congratulations.
In the photos, Kim Yong-ji wears a pure white wedding dress at an outdoor ceremony held at a venue styled like a traditional Korean hanok. Notably, there was no public dating news and no wedding announcement ahead of the ceremony, which has left many curious about the circumstances behind the surprise marriage.
Kim Go-eun and Kim Yong-ji were both born in 1991 and are known as close friends who studied together at the Korea National University of Arts.
No details about the groom were disclosed, and no official statement was available.
Kim Yong-ji debuted in advertising in 2015 and went on to appear in hit dramas including “Mr. Sunshine,” “The King: Eternal Monarch,” “Tale of the Nine Tailed,” and “Somebody.”
The actress has not yet commented on the wedding herself.
