Running Man's Ji Ye-eun Shows Off Her Bride-to-Be Cooking Skills with a Perfect Seasoned Chicken Sauce Ahead of December Wedding cover

Running Man’s Ji Ye-eun is already cooking like a married woman — and her seasoned fried chicken sauce passed the test with flying colors on the October 11 episode.

According to SBS Entertainment News, the October 11 broadcast followed the cast and guest Heo Kyung-hwan to Cheorwon for the “Cheorwon Tteodeo Bbeusseoyo” race, where the members cooked dinner together at their lodging after arriving.

Ji Ye-eun took charge of the yangnyeom (seasoned) chicken sauce. When a worried-looking Ji Seok-jin watched over her shoulder, she laughed, “I’m a bride, after all.” When he remarked that she seemed well prepared, she added, “I’ve got all my dishes ready — I really cook now,” revealing she has been taking her pre-wedding lessons seriously.

While the rest of the cast bickered around her, Ji Ye-eun quietly finished the sauce on her own, then offered the fried chicken for dipping. Yang Se-chan was impressed: “Wow, you’re totally like a wife’s family now.” Kim Jong-kook and Yoo Jae-suk chimed in, “Ye-eun is good at things like that. Ye-eun is really fully prepared.”

The October 11 episode marked the show’s return after a two-week break, airing as a 10-minute extended special. Off-screen, Ji Ye-eun’s own countdown is on: she is set to marry We Dem Boyz dancer Bata on December 12.

If the sauce is any indication, the wedding prep is right on schedule.
