BTS's 'Arirang' Surpasses 5 Billion Spotify Streams with All 14 Tracks Over 200 Million cover

BTS’s fifth studio album ‘Arirang’ has crossed 5 billion cumulative streams on Spotify, making it the most-streamed album of 2026 so far.

According to Sports Kyunghyang, Big Hit Music announced on October 14 that ‘Arirang (ARIRANG)’, released March 20, 2026, has surpassed 5 billion Spotify streams, roughly 2 billion ahead of this year’s runner-up, Olivia Rodrigo’s third album ‘you seem pretty sad for a girl so in love’.

What sets the achievement apart is how evenly the streams are spread. All 14 tracks have individually surpassed 200 million streams, including ‘No. 29’, which features the bell of King Seongdeok the Great. Title track ‘Swim’ is closing in on 1 billion streams.

The album shattered records from day one. On release day it racked up over 110 million streams, with all 14 songs occupying positions 1 through 14 on Spotify’s Daily Top Songs Global chart. ‘Swim’ pulled about 14 million streams that day, the highest single-day count for any 2026 song.

No official statement was available beyond the agency announcement. ‘Arirang’ is BTS’s first album in about three years and nine months.

Its U.S. run was equally historic: a No. 1 debut on the Billboard 200 with 641,000 equivalent album units, then three straight weeks at the top, the first group album to do so since Mumford & Sons’ ‘Babel’ in 2012-2013.
