Divorce Reflection Camp Husband Denies Hitting Wife After Bloody Mouth Photo Surfaces in Contradictory Claims cover

According to a MyDaily report by Seo Gi-chan published October 16, a husband appearing on JTBC’s “Divorce Reflection Camp” (이혼숙려캠프) has denied ever hitting his wife, after she accused him of violence and produced a photo taken at 3:23 a.m. showing a bloodied mouth.

The couple, nicknamed the “fairness couple” (공평부부) on the show, gave sharply contradictory accounts. The husband said he works more than 10 hours a day, takes on housework and childcare, and claimed his wife insults him and throws objects when she drinks.

The wife’s side, however, pointed to what she described as his hidden violent tendencies. She said he once kicked the front door so hard it broke, and that a physical clash erupted while she was pregnant during one of his live commerce broadcasts — after comments reading “women are the problem” sparked an argument, she threw tweezers and he pushed her, nearly making her fall. She also said he came home drunk at 3 a.m. while she was breastfeeding, cursed at her when she asked for help, and swung at her after she lightly touched his chin. She recalled him saying women like her “need to be hit to come to their senses,” which she said left her crying.

The husband denied all of it, saying he had never laid hands on her and had “never hit a woman with his fist in his life,” adding, “Honestly, I can’t admit it.”

No further statement from either side was reported, leaving the dispute unresolved on air.
