Former Roo’ra member Go Young-wook has a new target, publicly criticizing webtoon artist and TV personality Kian84 over a hygiene controversy that surfaced on Netflix.
According to an OSEN report published on October 14, Go Young-wook posted a photo of Kian84 on his personal channel with a scathing caption: “If I had met this guy in a cell, I would have given him a proper scolding.”
He continued, “For someone like me who changes underwear at least twice a day, I can’t understand living so unhygienically alone.” He questioned how Kian84 could act that way while living in a group setting and filming, adding, “It may not be new, but the entertainment industry is in its end days.”
The photo captured a scene from Netflix’s ‘Kian’s Bizarre B&B Season 2,’ in which Kian84 admits he did not change his underwear after showering. In episode 9, released on October 6, volleyball star Kim Yeon-koung and Dex were shown discussing his hygiene over a meal, with Kim pointing out the unwashed underwear.
Kian84 brushed it off at the time, telling them, “Don’t be so concerned about my hygiene.” After the episode aired, criticism followed over his unhygienic behavior while hosting guests.
Go Young-wook debuted with Roo’ra in 1994 and later served two and a half years in prison for sex crimes against minors before his 2015 release. Effectively retired from entertainment since, he has recently drawn attention by repeatedly criticizing fellow celebrities on social media.
