December is shaping up to be wedding season for Korean entertainment, with two star couples tying the knot just one day apart.

According to a report by Xports News on October 14, actor Ha Jung-woo and actress Cha Jung-won will marry on December 13, while actress Ji Ye-eun and dancer Bata (Kim Tae-hyun) will hold their ceremony on December 12.

Ha Jung-wooโ€™s agency, Workhouse Company, officially confirmed the news on October 14. The wedding will be held privately at a location in Seoul. Ha, born in 1978, and Cha, born in 1989, overcame an 11-year age gap and will mark the culmination of a six-year relationship, drawing congratulations from across the industry.

A day earlier, Ji Ye-eun and Bata will walk down the aisle. The couple went public with their relationship in April through an Xports News exclusive, and news of their wedding first surfaced on September 2 โ€” roughly five months after they confirmed their romance. Since going public, the two have been open about their affection, with Ji Ye-eun mentioning Bata naturally on broadcasts and Bata sharing photos of the couple on his personal account.

The two couples took different paths โ€” a long six-year courtship for Ha and Cha, and a swift five-month public romance for Ji and Bata โ€” but both will become December newlyweds.
