Transgender entertainer Ha Ri-su has opened up about a shockingly invasive question a reporter asked her at her own wedding press conference — and she is still angry about it.
According to NewsEn, the story came out in a recent short video posted by the YouTube channel ‘Studio 830,’ themed around rude questions she has faced because she is transgender. When asked about the rudest question she ever heard, Ha Ri-su did not hesitate.
“When I announced my marriage in the past, a reporter asked me at the press conference, ‘How is your sex life with your husband?’” she recalled. “Bringing up something like that is simply absurd. Even between close friends it’s a rude question — and they asked it at an official press conference.”
She added that she confronted the reporter on the spot. “I wondered, ‘What is in this person’s head? How do they go through life saying things like that?’ I told them firmly to get it together,” she said.
Ha Ri-su debuted in 2001 as a cosmetics model, released her first album ‘Temptation,’ and appeared in films including ‘Yellow Hair 2’ and ‘Emergency Act 19.’ She legally changed her gender in 2002 with court approval, married singer Miki Jung in 2006, and divorced in 2017. When Jung remarried in 2019, she publicly wished him happiness.
No further comment from the reporter in question was available.
