Han Ga-in has drawn a firm line against allegations of undisclosed advertising, insisting her newest YouTube video contains “no PPL” and backing the claim with receipts.
According to Star News, the actress addressed the issue in a video uploaded October 15 to her YouTube channel, built around the first public reveal of jewelry she has collected over 23 years — from luxury pieces and wedding jewelry to domestic designer brands.
In the video, Han shows her collection, stressing every piece was bought with her own money long ago. She attached receipts as proof, explaining that while stylists can sometimes secure 10 to 20 percent discounts, she usually buys directly from stores or online — and brand executives likely do not even know she wears their products.
“I bought these with my own money. There is no PPL here. I purchased all of these a long time ago,” she said. “There is no falsehood whatsoever when it comes to whether something is an ad. When paid advertising is involved, my principle is to upload the content labeled ‘paid ad included.’”
The controversy dates back to last month, when a YouTuber questioned the advertising methods and efficacy claims of an “edible albumin” product and mentioned Han’s video. Han denied receiving any compensation or sponsorship, saying the products were bought and used directly.
The video stands as her latest on-the-record denial — and the rule she says she will keep: labeled when paid, bought with her own money when not.
