Both born in 1991, Young-soo and Soon-ja announced through the YouTube channel Chonjang Entertainment TV that they will marry on December 5. Young-soo has explained that December 5 is exactly two years after the day he chose Soon-ja at the first-impression selection during the 2024 filming of “I’m Solo,” and that he wanted to marry on that anniversary.
The couple’s road to the altar moved quickly once it began. They first met during the 2024 filming and stayed friends afterward, then began dating on August 11 with marriage in mind. About two months later, on October 10, they decided to marry and moved swiftly into wedding preparations. Soon-ja has previously said that their wedding invitation featured the first-impression choice scene from the show, a nod to the moment their story began.
Young-soo has continued to share the preparations on social media, following the wedding photos with behind-the-scenes shots from the outdoor shoot. The couple is set to hold their wedding ceremony on December 5 and begin their married life together.
