Jennie's 'Dracula' Extends Record Hot 100 Top 10 Run to 22 Weeks as PLAVE Debuts at No. 31 on Billboard 200 cover

BLACKPINK’s Jennie has stretched her Billboard record once again. Her collaboration with Tame Impala, “Dracula,” sits at No. 8 on the Billboard Hot 100 for the chart dated October 31, marking a 22nd week inside the top 10, according to Newsis, which reported the chart revealed on October 26 local time.

The song slips three places from its peak of No. 5, but the top 10 stay extends Jennie’s own record for the longest Hot 100 top 10 run by a K-pop artist. No other K-pop act has held the upper tier of the all-genre singles chart for this long.

American radio remains the engine behind the run. “Dracula” drew 63.2 million audience impressions and topped Billboard’s Radio Songs chart for a sixth consecutive week. It also held No. 1 for a 42nd week on Hot Dance/Electronic Songs and a 24th week on Hot Rock & Alternative Songs.

The week’s other headline belongs to PLAVE. The virtual idol group’s mini album “HYPERDRIVE” debuted at No. 31 on the Billboard 200, the group’s first entry into the chart’s top 40 and its second entry overall, following “Caligo Pt.2,” which debuted at No. 145 in the spring. Soompi also reported that “HYPERDRIVE” topped both the Top Album Sales and World Albums charts, while PLAVE re-entered the Emerging Artists chart at a new peak of No. 1.

Other K-pop acts held their ground on the same charts. HYBE’s global girl group KATSEYE placed its single “Animal” at No. 30 on the Hot 100 and its mini album “WILD” at No. 39 on the Billboard 200. The “KPop Demon Hunters” soundtrack climbed to No. 35 in its 70th consecutive chart week, BTS’s “ARIRANG” held at No. 46 in its 31st week, and Stray Kids’ “THIS AND THAT” landed at No. 93 in its 11th week.

The new numbers continue a steady climb documented week by week. “Dracula” rebounded to No. 6 on the chart dated October 17 for its 20th week in the top 10, then tied its No. 5 peak on the October 24 chart for a 21st week. “Dracula” pairs Jennie, one of K-pop’s biggest global solo names, with Australian psychedelic rock project Tame Impala, and its five-month top 10 stay has been built on radio support rather than a single viral spike.

With the October 31 chart now public, the next test is whether “Dracula” can hold the top 10 for a 23rd week, and whether PLAVE’s album debut turns into a longer Billboard 200 stay.
