KATSEYE’s show at Chicago’s United Center on Thursday, November 5, has been postponed after member Megan fell ill, the venue announced hours before the scheduled 8 p.m. start.
United Center shared the update on its official Instagram account, and the announcement was quickly picked up on Reddit’s r/kpop. The venue told fans not to travel to the arena, saying doors would not open for the night’s show.
Tickets will remain valid for the rescheduled date, which has not yet been announced. VIP packages, including soundcheck upgrades, will carry over to the new date, and fans who cannot make it will be able to get a refund to their original payment method. No diagnosis for Megan has been disclosed, and no timeline for her return has been shared.
“We’re sorry to share that tonight’s KATSEYE show at the United Center has been postponed due to Megan’s illness,” the venue said in its statement. It added an apology for the inconvenience and thanked fans for their patience and understanding.
The Chicago postponement is the second date on the North American leg of KATSEYE: THE WILDWORLD TOUR to be moved in three days. On November 3, the group’s Detroit show at Little Caesars Arena was postponed about 30 minutes before showtime for the same reason, with tickets also held over for a new date. A week earlier, Megan and Daniela missed the VIP photo, soundcheck and Q&A at the Boston show on October 28 because of illness, although the main concert went ahead that night. Health issues have shadowed the tour since August, when Megan sprained her ankle during a rehearsal and the group withdrew from Olivia Rodrigo’s Daisy Chain Fields festival. Two other members are also on temporary leave: Manon Bannerman is on an open-ended mental-health break, and Sophia Laforteza is expected to rejoin in January 2027.
The tour is next scheduled to stop in Minneapolis on November 7, with the North American run due to end on November 28 in Mexico City. Whether Megan will be back on stage by then remains unclear, and fans are now waiting for the group to confirm the Chicago make-up date.
