KATSEYE has told fans that Daniela and Megan will miss the VIP portions of the group’s Boston show because of illness, while the main concert will still go ahead as scheduled.
The announcement came in a notice from the group’s Weverse community manager for the Boston date of KATSEYE: THE WILDWORLD TOUR. It confirmed that the two members missed the day’s VIP Group Photo and would not take part in the pre-show Soundcheck and Q&A session.
“We are very sorry to inform you that due to illness, Daniela and Megan were unable to attend today’s VIP Group Photo and will not be participating in the scheduled Soundcheck and Q&A session for the Boston show. Both members are currently resting and receiving necessary care,” the notice said.
The notice drew a clear line between the affected VIP activities and the evening performance itself. “Daniela, Lara, Megan, and Yoonchae will perform for the main concert as scheduled,” it said, adding: “We sincerely apologize to the fans who have been looking forward to today’s VIP events and ask for your kind understanding.”
That distinction matters most for VIP ticket holders, whose pre-show experience is built around those exact activities. The group photo, soundcheck and Q&A take place before the main concert, so VIP fans were directly affected even as the main show goes ahead.
The Boston date is part of the tour’s North American run. A Weverse notice for official merchandise listed the Boston show on October 28, 2026, at TD Garden, following the Washington, D.C. date on October 22 and the Belmont Park dates on October 24 and 25. The schedule change was announced on the day of the Boston show, in the middle of a run of arena dates.
Health-related schedule changes have already shaped parts of this tour cycle. In August 2026, KATSEYE withdrew from Olivia Rodrigo’s Daisy Chain Fields festival after Megan sprained her ankle during a tour rehearsal and was advised to stay off it so it could heal ahead of the tour. The Boston notice is narrower: it frames the change as a limited adjustment to the VIP schedule, not a concert cancellation.
For now, no change to the main Boston concert has been announced. Fans heading to TD Garden can expect Daniela, Lara, Megan and Yoonchae on stage for the main concert, with only the VIP photo, soundcheck and Q&A affected.
