KBS2’s “Gag Concert” is flipping its sketches upside down tonight with a gender-swapped makeover, a 60-voice imitation choir, and a Bollywood-style take on “Avatar.”
According to MHN Sports, the October 11 episode, airing at 10:35 PM, brings fresh twists to its popular corners. The hit sketch “The House You Live In” (“네가 사는 그집”) reverses its setup: comedian Seo Seong-gyeong now visits her boyfriend Yoo Yeon-jo’s house, instead of the other way around.
When Yoo’s brothers return home earlier than expected, Seo hides her identity by transforming into a macho man named “Seo Tae-poong.” The sketch’s elder brother, Yoon Jae-woong, insists “there’s something that connects men,” his sister Hwang Hye-seon falls for Seo Tae-poong’s charm, and their younger sister Son Yu-dam keeps tactlessly bringing up ex-girlfriend stories.
The music corner gets a vocal showpiece too. Impressionists Ahn Yoon-sang, Kim Sung-won, and Yang Gi-woong team up as an imitation choir, performing Noel’s hit “Proposal” (“청혼”) while cycling through 60 voices — from singer Lim Chang-jung to famous politicians — and harmonizing across them.
Rounding out the night, Yoon Jae-woong returns as “Bollywood actor Hassan,” reinterpreting “Avatar” in Bollywood style. Transformed into a Na’vi with a Bollywood dance troupe, he closes with a surprise appearance by the “Ash Tribe” scene-stealer.
The episode airs tonight at 10:35 PM on KBS2.
