Kim Ji Won's 'Doctor X' and Kim You Jung's '100 Days Of Deception' Top Most Buzzworthy Drama and Actor Rankings cover

SBS’s “Doctor X” and tvN’s “100 Days of Deception” have swept the top spots on this week’s most buzzworthy drama and actor rankings, with “Doctor X” holding No. 1 for a second straight week and “100 Days of Deception” climbing to No. 2 on both lists.

The rankings come from Good Data Corporation’s weekly survey of the dramas generating the most online buzz, as reported by Soompi on October 25. The company compiles each week’s chart by collecting data from news articles, blog posts, online communities, videos, and social media about dramas that are currently airing or set to air soon.

On the drama chart, “Doctor X” stayed at No. 1, followed by “100 Days of Deception” at No. 2. ENA’s “Between Steps” took No. 3, KBS2’s “A Love Other Than Yours” rose to No. 4, and TVING’s “The Ordinary Jackpot” placed No. 5 in its final week on air. Netflix’s “Take Charge of My Heart” held steady at No. 6. TVING’s new romantic comedy “Make Me Tingle” debuted on the drama list, KBS2’s “Love on the Menu” and JTBC’s “Fly High Butterfly” also made the top 10, and Disney+‘s upcoming series “The Remarried Empress” entered the chart at No. 10 before its premiere.

The actor chart tells a similar story of a two-drama race at the top. “Doctor X” star Kim Ji Won continued her reign at No. 1 on the list of most buzzworthy cast members, while “100 Days of Deception” leads Kim You Jung and GOT7’s Park Jinyoung climbed to No. 2 and No. 3 respectively. “Between Steps” stars Choo Young Woo and Kim So Hyun ranked No. 4 and No. 5, while “A Love Other Than Yours” leads Seo Kang Jun and Ahn Eun Jin came in at No. 6 and No. 9. “Doctor X” co-star Jang Seung Jo entered the actor list at No. 7, and “Take Charge of My Heart” leads Chae Soo Bin and Kim Young Kwang took No. 8 and No. 10.

The movement since the previous week’s chart sharpens the story. A week earlier, Kim You Jung sat at No. 3 and Park Jinyoung at No. 9 on the actor list, with Choo Young Woo at No. 2. This week the “100 Days of Deception” pair both moved up past the “Between Steps” leads, while Kim Ji Won and “Doctor X” stayed at the top, suggesting the gap is narrowing in cast buzz even as “Doctor X” keeps the drama crown.

A second, independent measure points in the same direction. According to Nielsen Korea figures reported by Soompi on October 25, “Doctor X” climbed to an average nationwide rating of 19.5 percent for its latest episode, making it the most-watched show of any kind to air that week and tying “The Penthouse 3” for the fifth-highest rating of any SBS Friday-Saturday drama. In the same report, “100 Days of Deception” remained the most-watched cable show of any kind on Saturday, scoring 6.5 percent for its fifth episode. Buzz and ratings do not always move together, but this week they are telling the same story: “Doctor X” is the broadcast heavyweight, and “100 Days of Deception” is the cable challenger with momentum.

The background helps explain why both dramas are dominating conversation. “Doctor X” stars Kim Ji Won as a genius surgeon at Guseo University Hospital who confronts corrupt hospital politics, and it opened on October 9 with an 11.4 percent nationwide rating, the strongest premiere of any South Korean miniseries in 2026 at that point. “100 Days of Deception,” set in Gyeongseong during the Japanese colonial era, follows a skilled pickpocket played by Kim You Jung who is asked by independence fighters to infiltrate the colonial government for 100 days and meets an elite translator played by Park Jinyoung. The period spy romance premise, combined with two stars with large established fan bases, has given it a steady supply of talking points as its story unfolds.

The rest of the chart shows a crowded field. “Between Steps” and “A Love Other Than Yours” both placed two leads in the actor top 10, a sign their ensembles, not just a single star, are driving discussion. “The Ordinary Jackpot” held a top-five drama spot in its final week, and “The Remarried Empress” reached No. 10 before airing, showing that pre-premiere anticipation alone can now crack the buzz chart.

No official statement was available beyond the rankings themselves, and Good Data does not publish a single buzz score per title, so the chart is best read as relative conversation, not an exact audience count. The next chart will test whether “Doctor X” extends its run at No. 1 and whether “100 Days of Deception” can turn its rising cast buzz into the drama list’s top spot.
