Singer Lee Hae-in is back on the dance stage after about a decade, teaming up with KISS OF LIFE’s Natty on KBS2’s “Happy Together – Good Because You’re Not Alone.”
According to iDaily Star In, the pair took the final round stage in episode 11, which aired on October 9, as the duo “Intti Band” at a contest held along the Han River. The two chose BoA’s classic “No.1” and gave it their own reinterpretation.
Lee opened the performance with her signature clear tone and stable live vocals, then threw herself into the dance break alongside Natty, lifting the energy of the stage with dynamic choreography. She closed the song with emotional delivery, rounding out a richer performance.
Forestella’s Kang Hyung-ho, who watched the stage, heaped praise on the pair. He said singing and dancing at the same time “isn’t easy,” adding that Lee’s relaxed execution made her look like a “veteran,” and that the two’s care for each other multiplied their synergy. RE:SCENE’s Minami also praised the effort and the story behind the stage.
Lee has been building a career behind the scenes as chief creative officer (CCO) of the entertainment company all my anecdotes, taking part in launching the virtual girl group OWIS and scouting rookie artists. That made this a meaningful return to the stage for a singer who has been supporting juniors offstage.
“Happy Together” broadcasts its final episode on October 16 at 8:30 p.m., when the remaining six teams’ final stages and the ultimate winner will be revealed.
