Lee Soo Man Makes First Korean Public Appearance in Over Two Years, Launches A2O SOUL and A2O LITE at 'Welcome to Soulite' Showcase cover

Lee Soo Man made his first official public appearance in South Korea in about two and a half years on October 12, taking the stage at A2O Entertainment’s “Welcome To Soulite” showcase at KINTEX in Ilsan to launch the label’s two new idol groups.

Per MyDaily, the showcase doubled as the global debut show for boy group A2O SOUL and girl group A2O LITE. Lee thanked fans for their support, explaining A2O means “Alpha to Omega — where the beginning and the end connect, and that end becomes a new beginning, constantly changing and expanding.”

He devoted much of the event to culture technology, unveiling “4DGS” (4D Gaussian Splatting), which films a performance simultaneously from many angles and reconstructs the artist in 3D space, allowing new viewpoints and movements to be created even after filming ends. He called it potentially “the most advanced recording device” and “the final, most evolved form of the camera itself.”

Lee recalled building a Matrix-style camera system himself years ago, behind the floating, orbit-style shots in music videos by Girls’ Generation, SHINee, TVXQ!, and BoA.

On what sets A2O apart, he said it starts with the song — everything “must feel different from existing K-pop, but being different isn’t enough; the result has to be liked and loved.” He also teased a late-October interactive live talk show, where fans and celebrities can see each other and participate in real time, if both groups debut well.
