Lim Young-woong has been voted the No. 1 male trot singer fans would most like to visit a silver grass field with, topping a TENAsia poll held from October 1 to 7.
According to TenAsia, the poll asked: “Which male trot singer would you most like to visit a silver grass spot with?” Lim Young-woong took the top spot.
Lim debuted on August 8, 2016, and is marking his 10th anniversary this year. To celebrate, he held his ‘IM HERO - THE STADIUM 2’ concert at Goyang Stadium from October 4 to 6, and released the special digital album ‘IM HERO 10’ on the 8th, his debut anniversary.
Song Min-jun came in second. He recently signed an exclusive contract with Grace E&M, performed at last month’s Goesan Red Pepper Festival opening concert, and will appear on SBS’s ‘The Listen’ later this month. Kim Joong-yeon took third — he performed at the ‘3-Person 3-Color Trot Concert: Prince’ at Jamsil Indoor Gymnasium in May alongside Kim Soo-chan and Min Su-hyeon.
TENAsia’s website is currently running more autumn picnic-themed polls, including versions for female and male singers and female trot singers. No vote totals were disclosed.
Lim’s poll win adds one more small honor to a landmark anniversary year.
