Park Seo Ham and Kim Han Young are about to face off in an acting audition — and Kim Ji Yeon’s character set the whole thing in motion.
According to a report from MHN, episode 5 of the Disney+ and Channel A drama “Dive to You” brings former judo rivals Jung Woo Jae (Park Seo Ham) and Lee Hyung Won (Kim Han Young) back together as acting rivals. Both are competing for the male lead in a short film starring Yoon Ha Na (Kim Ji Yeon), setting up a tense love triangle.
The audition is all part of Ha Na’s plan. After time-slipping and meeting the 21-year-old Woo Jae, she learns he quit judo after a shoulder injury. Woo Jae had won gold at the 2011 national team trials by defeating Hyung Won, but by 2013 he is on track to become a bodyguard — so Ha Na recommends him for the audition, hoping he becomes the one being protected instead.
Things get tense when Hyung Won, who once showed open hostility toward Woo Jae at the trials, also joins the audition. Woo Jae stands out with expressive acting and sharp action, while Ha Na keeps her distance from the suddenly forward Hyung Won — and Woo Jae shoots him a jealous glare.
“Dive to You” is directed by So Jae Hyun, written by Kim Bo Geum and Lee On, produced by Dexter Pictures and Amuse Entertainment, and provided by Rakuten Viki. Episode 5 releases today, October 10, on Disney+ and on Channel A at 10:40 p.m. KST — where viewers will finally see who wins the role.
