Netflix has confirmed production of a new K-pop girl group audition program, “We Go High,” and opened participant applications on October 21, Ilgan Sports reported.
According to the report, Netflix announced that production of the show is finalized and that recruitment began the same day, marking a same-day launch for the project.
The program targets students at Korean arts high schools. Current first- and second-year students at high schools with arts or broadcasting departments are eligible, along with students planning to enroll in the 2027 school year. Full application details are available through Netflix Korea’s official social media channels.
Production and direction will be handled by Park Jin-kyung and Lee Jae-seok of Monster House.
“Production of ‘We Go High’ is confirmed, and participant recruitment starts today,” Netflix said in its announcement. To support the group’s future, Netflix has also signed a memorandum of understanding with SM C&C for cooperation covering the debut group’s activities after the program ends.
Under the agreement, the two companies will support the winning group’s development and overall activities, aiming to help the members perform on global stages.
Applications are now open, setting up a new girl group that will launch with backing from both Netflix and SM C&C.
