Park Jae-hyung of 'My Sibling's Romance' Draws Line Against Malicious Commenters with New Comment Policy cover

Park Jae-hyung of the JTBC dating show ‘My Sibling’s Romance’ has drawn a public line against online hate, announcing a clear comment policy: honest opinions stay, malicious attacks get deleted.

According to the Maeil Business Newspaper on October 11, the former cast member took to his personal social media on the 10th with a short but pointed message — “Take it easy~” (“적당히 하세요”).

In the post, Park laid out straightforward moderation rules for his page. Voicing opinions and expressing emotions are both allowed, he said. What will not be tolerated are comments made up of nothing but profanity, defamatory remarks, or malicious attacks — those will be deleted.

The message was aimed directly at repeat offenders. While he said he has no problem with criticism itself, he made clear he will no longer leave personal, content-free abuse standing on his page.

Park rose to fame in 2024 on JTBC and Wavve’s ‘My Sibling’s Romance,’ appearing alongside his younger brother Park Se-seung. Born in 1994, he was introduced on the show as a Sogang University business graduate working as an accountant. After a slow start, he became a central love-line figure, actively pursuing Kim Ji-won — though she ultimately chose Lee Yong-woo in the final selection. The brothers’ real-life sibling dynamic won viewers’ sympathy, and since the show ended they have run a YouTube channel sharing their daily lives.

His post comes as more Korean celebrities take a harder public stance against online harassment. No official statement was available.
