SBS's 'Tteummannamyeon' Tops Time Slot for Ninth Straight Week with 4.0% Rating cover

SBS’s “Tteummannamyeon” is showing no signs of slowing down. The variety show topped its time slot in variety and culture programming for the ninth consecutive week, with its October 13 broadcast posting a 4.0% nationwide household rating.

According to a report by TV Daily, hosts Yoo Jae-suk and Yoo Yeon-seok teamed up with guests Nam Ji-hyun and Kim Jae-young in Daeheung-dong, Mapo-gu, Seoul, meeting locals and taking on neighborhood games. The two guests attacked each game with gusto and carried the group through all three stages of the final round.

Nam Ji-hyun stole a personal moment at her alma mater, Sogang University. Introducing herself as a class-of-‘14 psychology major, she said she genuinely enjoyed studying in college and once waited up to two hours in a line. Yoo Jae-suk marveled at her focus, to the laughter of the cast.

The episode also nodded to the guests’ history: Nam Ji-hyun and Kim Jae-young previously played siblings in a drama together, and Kim praised Nam for bringing out the best in her co-stars, showing their easy chemistry.

No official statement was available beyond the report. The final “sokuri pong pong” game came down to Nam Ji-hyun’s calm play and Kim Jae-young’s support, clearing all three stages together.

“Tteummannamyeon” airs every Tuesday at 9 p.m. KST on SBS, where the two hosts turn small gaps in everyday life into lucky moments.
