Namgoong Ho (Seo Kang Jun) just delivered one of the most talked-about endings of the season on “A Love Other Than Yours” — he told his ex-lover Lee Mi-do (Ahn Eun-jin) to go meet the man who made her heart race, and then come back to him.
According to Sports Dong-A and Newsen reports on October 11, episode 7 of the KBS 2TV weekend miniseries aired October 10 at 9:20 p.m. KST and closed with Namgoong Ho’s bombshell offer. After declaring their breakup, he found Lee Mi-do at their childhood playground, held her engagement-ringed hand, and told her to go meet Han Tae-seung (Lee Joo-ahn) — the man who turned the switch back on in her life — and return.
The episode drew a 2.3% nationwide rating, per Nielsen Korea, flat with episode 6.
The night before, the triangle boiled over at a hospital. After Lee Mi-do injured her arm in a car accident, Namgoong Ho threw a punch at Han Tae-seung — not out of jealousy, but furious that he had failed to keep her safe. Lee Mi-do had admitted she felt a flutter toward Han Tae-seung, like a switch being turned on in her dark life, a confession that sealed the breakup.
The 14-episode drama premiered September 12 and also streams on Amazon Prime Video in around 240 countries.
Episode 8 airs October 11 at 9:20 p.m. KST, picking up right where the breakup — and the bold offer — left off.
