Singer-songwriter Song So-hee is back with a new single that she built from scratch herself. The folk track “Sunshine, Wind” (“Haessal, Baram”) was released on October 14 at 6 p.m. KST across streaming platforms, along with its music video.
According to a report by MHN Sports, Song So-hee took part in every step of the song’s creation — writing the lyrics, composing the music, and producing the track. The song carries warm-hearted lyrics dedicated to young souls, opening on a calm melody that grows steadily more emotional as the track builds.
The release marks a sharp turn from her recent work. Her September single “NANSEN” painted an explorer crossing a frozen world over intense rock sounds, while “Sunshine, Wind” blends folk lyricism with band sounds to capture the moment of discovering light and freedom. The two releases, just over a month apart, show off her wide expressive range.
The accompanying music video leans into nature. It follows Song So-hee on a journey past the moon, endless plains, and sunset landscapes, with one standout shot catching her walking alone through a vast natural landscape from a distance.
No official statement was available beyond the report. Before this release, Song So-hee had been active on the festival circuit, performing at SOUNDBERRY FESTA 26, the Jeonju Ultimate Music Festival 2026, and the Madley Medley Festival.
“Sunshine, Wind” and its music video are now available on streaming sites as of 6 p.m. KST on October 14.
