Swings Signs with Lee Jong-suk's Agency Ace Factory in Official Acting Career Move cover

Rapper-turned-actor Swings has signed an exclusive contract with Ace Factory, the agency announced on October 29, formally placing his fast-growing acting career under one of South Korea’s best-known actor-management companies.

In its official statement, Ace Factory said it had signed an exclusive contract with actor Moon Ji-hoon, Swings’s real name. The company said it was drawn to the range he has built through music and to his expanding work as an actor, adding: “We deeply empathized with the diverse charms and acting capabilities of actor Moon Ji-hoon.” It also asked fans for interest and support for his new beginning.

The move follows Swings’s acting debut in ‘Tazza: Song of Beelzebub,’ the final film in the ‘Tazza’ series, which was released in September. He played Abraham, a fearless and ruthless outlaw who carries out orders without hesitation or feeling, a character the report describes as more frightening precisely because he does not think for himself and does not stop.

Despite acting for the first time, Swings blended into the role without awkwardness and stood out even among the supporting cast, according to OSEN. That performance earned him a Best New Actor nomination at the 47th Blue Dragon Film Awards. Swings later shared his reaction on social media, writing that being nominated alone left him humbled.

That trajectory is the core of this signing. Swings first built a distinctive presence and expressive range through music, and Ace Factory’s statement frames acting not as a side project but as the next stage of that career. The agency is also a production company, and its roster includes Lee Jong-suk, Lee Joon-hyuk, Go So-young, Yum Hye-ran, Yoo Jae-myung, Lee Kyu-hyung, Yoon Se-ah, Lee You-young, Jang Dong-gun, Jang Seung-jo, Jo Woo-jin, and Choi Dae-hoon, a lineup that immediately puts Swings alongside established screen actors rather than in a music-only lane.

Ace Factory did not announce a next project in its statement, so the immediate question is what role will mark his first work under the new agency. For now, the signing itself is the signal: after a debut that drew awards attention, Swings is committing to acting as a full second career.
